Activity Surveys
Following a busy career in The Urban Transport Institute, which designed, conducted, analysed and reported on 25 large-scale travel surveys across Australia and New Zealand (and the publication of a major textbook on Travel Survey Design), it was only natural that Tony and Rita would continue undertaking surveys in one way or another when they formed The Taggerty Group. They had previously, when running TUTI, conducted a Community Survey of Taggerty as part of an urban Design Framework study, and done a travel survey of Murrindindi Shire as part of the 2007 Victorian Integrated Travel, Activity and LandUse survey. In recent years, their survey work has extended to Europe, when they conducted a series of activity surveys of members of DBA - the Barge Association in 2011 through 2020.
